Slate And Tile Repairs On Older Cottages
An older slate or clay roof deserves careful, sympathetic repair rather than the cheapest patch. Most of the original slates and tiles are usually still sound, so we save and relay what is there and repair the leadwork rather than strip it out. Where replacements are needed we source a close match so the repair blends in when viewed from the street. It takes longer than re-covering the roof in concrete tiles, but the house keeps its character and its value.

All our work conforms to building control regulations.
For roofs that are tall, steep or hard to see from the ground, our drone roof surveys photograph the whole roof without scaffolding. They are useful for planning maintenance, and they give home buyers a clear written report on a roof's condition before purchase.
